Chicago Favorite
This weekend I'm heading to Chicago on a much needed vacation with my favorite travel companion, my mama. One of our favorite stores we stumbled upon in our last couple visits is Two-Sided and it's sister store Four-Sided. They are both full of fun cards, journals and vintage knicknacks one specializing in vintage frames. This is one must see destination shop every time we visit the windy city. Can't wait...

The little things
So my friend and two apartment floors up neighbor Lisa asked me to check in on her kitty Walter while she was out of town. To my surprise she gave me the sweetest little thank you gift she bought at a kawaii store in Florida. How adorable and thoughtful!! The little things that make me smile :)

Lookey Lookey!
Look what finally came!? My new specs! After seeing Massada glasses online I quickly made an overdue eye doctor appointment and rushed back to my computer after to order these bad boys. Very satisfied with my purchase, and the cool stamps on the package made these european tortoise glasses even cooler.

Pattern Cute-ness
Being the pattern obsessed chica I am, I freaked when I saw this set of cutlery from urban outfitters. Being that my current silverware is a cheap set from Ikea (although functional for what I need despite the occasional spoon bend in the ice cream carton..I hate that) I may need to upgrade to this set. Like a I need more pattern in my apartment..who am I kidding? Of course I do!

Workspace
Being a designer I'm a huge fan of inspiration boards. They cheer up a happy place and more importantly make my little cubicle somewhat inspiring. Here are two of my favorites, how dope is that lamp? Followed by pics of my cubicle, my inspiration boards by my MASSIVE work mac, my long board, and my garage sale chair..that almost falls apart when anyone tries to sit. (which works well for me because nobody stays long-I kid..kind of).

Laura Berger Illustration
I love Sloths. It's true..I really do. So it makes sense that I fell in love with Laura Berger's sloth illustrations..may have to treat myself to one for V-day. My little sloth painting will love me back. How silly is this Valentines day card by her also...hehe.
